Our Gift Is Life

Dim the lights. Brighten your heart.

Let your eyes adjust to the dark.

It’s not so scary when you meet the nightmares head-on, and find the friends who understand what lies under the bed.

The only real monsters we face, are the ones we create.

The only real terrors we make, are ourselves.

Sunken shadowed eyes, hide all our ruthless lies.

A Heart recently broken, thinks it’s the ending moment.

Fear is the truth hiding in shame.

Pride an endless guessing game.

But the truth is, that fear and pride hide the brightest moments in our lives.

So remember:

The only real monsters we Face, are the ones we create.

The only real terrors we make, are ourselves.

Hope has a way of forgetting our shame.

Love has a way of remembering our names.

Peace is only impossible if we deem it to be.

And the darkness lasts only as long as we let it.

Faith has a way of reducing our pain.

Joy has a way of bringing tears and a smile all the ame.

The reasons we choose are all parts of the plan,

So look deep in yourselves and you will find a hand,

Leading you forward, just like a friend,

Loving you more, with each step you take,

Revealing this courage that you have had all along

Now remember:

The only real monsters we Face, are the ones we create.

The only real terrors we make, are ourselves.

Now open your eyes, and look at the stars.

The Lights that twinkle co-exist with the dark.

Our gift is life, our failures as well

Now make the time to remember!

The only real monsters we Face, are the ones we create.

The only real terrors we make, are ourselves.
